Rocky Mountain Diamond came to ThoughtLab not just to make a new ecommerce website, but to pull their company into a whole new direction. RMD has been a brick and mortar store in Salt Lake City for years, but they knew they could be successful online if they just had the right partner. I worked on a new logo, built an online presence that would rival the big boys and made a simple logo that helped keep their name front of mind.

breaking out of the brick and mortar

We started with a brick and mortar store that sold loose diamonds, stock rings, but also made amazing custom pieces. They wanted to get that option out to the public, but first we had to work through the logistics of making that happen. We worked through custom packaging, how to get high quality models for imagery and even how to get people to remember their name (everyone wants to add the “s” to the end of diamonds).
